Richards Joinery & Property Maintenance

Richards Joinery & Property Maintenance has more than 25 years of experience around Chesterfield and uses joinery as the centre of a much broader home-improvement service. The business undertakes carpentry and joinery, fitted wardrobes, kitchens and decking, while also publishing plastering, decorating, roofing, brickwork and general maintenance.

The combination is particularly useful on refurbishment projects where timber work touches several other trades. Fitting a kitchen or built-in storage can involve wall preparation and finishing; decking may sit alongside masonry or exterior repairs; a maintenance visit can reveal work that needs both joinery and decorative attention. Richards can keep those connected tasks within one local service.

Based in Chesterfield, the business serves the surrounding Derbyshire market and remains small enough to retain a hands-on local identity. Its distinguishing feature is not that it claims every construction trade, but that experienced joinery is supported by the practical building and finishing work often needed around it.
